Money Shot -
Weaponz Of Mass Seduction (2005) Crude, blunt, vile, and hilarious, near genius. Money Shot's debut album is great. I'm not much of a rap fan but the idea of porno-rap was intriguing and this CD was worth the wait. Entire songs dedicated to the most important things in life. Anal sex, drugs, breastesez and masturbation, sucking toes and banging fat chicks. Think back to when you were younger and had and album that you found great but wanted to hide from your parents because of the dirty words or subject matter.. this is a million times better/worse than that CD. All the lyrics are hilarious, some are extremely blunt others are just plain creative. The beats are all different, catchy and listenable, a lot of them have a mid-nineties feel to them, which just happens to be the only era of rap i enjoyed. Creasemasta sounds like a reincarnation of Humpty at some points. You can check out the songs "breastesez" and "bang that bung up" on either of the links below and get a good idea of their sound, either one is a good download. The song "Put the lotion in the basket" sounds like a light-hearted "Chalk" out-take, which should be no surprise seeing as one member of Money shot was in Chalk and the other did guest vocals on "In Check". Every song on the album is solid and entertaining. My only real complaint about this album is the number of filler tracks and long samples that's one of my musical turn-offs, thanks a lot Tool. Either way this'd be a great CD for anyone missing the good ol days of 2 live crew and Digital Underground. Hit it up, no salt shaker innuendos here.
