The
Ape 2005The Green Goblin's son is living a boring life so he moves out away from his family to write a novel only to find out that a talking gorilla wearing a Hawaiian shirt is already living in his apartment. When I read the plot summary i was thinking "Oh my god, this is going to be the best movie ever made, ever." It wasn't quite that, but it's alright. They used the same ape costume they used for the play in the movie, so it never really looks real, but that's the idea. You're always supposed to wonder if he's just a figment of the New Goblin's imagination. The ending was predictable but not as bad as I've seen in other movies with the same damn ending (Die High Tension, Die.) Okay, so imagine a bunch of community college theatre majors wrote a play version of Office Space, threw in a monkey, and gave it a Fight Club ending and then made it into a movie. This is it. But hey at least it has this conversation: Dude: "I need to relieve some aggression" Ape : "Hookers?"
