Sasquatch   2002
    Sasquatch
is by far the best Sasquatch Horror movie I've seen. It's got your typical creature film set-up. A rich guy's daughter was in a plane crash over a huge wooded area, he assembles a team to search for her, dead or alive. Oh, and here's the kicker; They run into a Sasquatch! Guess what? He's not too happy about that. There a few plot twists to try and keep you interested in the human characters. A few of the characters aren't what you thought they were. It kept my attention, though I can't say i really cared much about any of the people, though I'm a yeti-phile.
The human acting is all pretty believable, the Sasquatch is played by a man in costume. Maybe it was a real Sasquatch, either way it wasn't a bunch of CGI crap. The only downfalls of the movie are a couple shots where obviously influenced by The Matrix and some  Blair Witch "camcorder footage" style.  Those kind of things were prevalent at the time, and it still carries on today. Someday, we'll be free of those kind of things. As well as the Fight Club Ending, which this movie may or may not have had.
I was fortunate enough to find this movie in the bargain bin at Wal-mart for $4.88, it was worth so much more. Sadly they don't make enough realistic looking bigfoot movies, let alone Sasquatch Horror movies.  If you have a chance to get it, then by all means snatch it up. Make sure you're getting  Sasquatch  starring Lance Henriksen and not Sasquatch Hunters starring a bunch of crappy computer generated skunk-apesThis movie was enjoyable enough for me to watch it again right afterwards with commentary. I'm now full of useless trivia about a movie no one else has seen.

Sorry i don't have any screen shots, for some reason Power DVD isn't working with this particular film. then again we all know how hard it is to get a picture of a Sasquatch...

4 out of 5 skulls.
