Nim Vind -  Fashion Of Fear (2005)
An album this addicting should have a warning label. After one listen you'll be infected. I've seen it happen many times. People start singing along right away, they just can't help themselves. This album could very well destroy your life
Fashion of Fear is definitely one of the must have horror rock albums. It's very eclectic, never boring, and extremely infectious. Genres are crossed effortlessly, punks rock with theremins, acoustic songs with whistling, fifties style crooning and borderline arena rock are all thrown together without pretense.
I was hooked once I heard "Killer Creature Double Feature" on The Prom Queen Massacre compilation, I ended up ordering this album the next day. Talk about getting your money worth. "Into The Sphere We Go" starts out with a surf-punk sound and moves into a catchy chorus that sounds like it's part of a horror movie.  "Blue Movies" makes great use of  "woah" and "oh".  "Like A Guillotteen" draws you in instantly. "Astronomicon" is surprisingly danceable without sounding like one of those crappy Rob Zombie remixes. "Interviews With The Icon" is a delightful ballad about a radioactive man and a great way to end the album.
This is probably my shortest review ever, what can I say? It's got no filler, just awesome, buy the damn thing.
