Bah, Humbug!

In the spirit of Christmas and Black Friday, I’m having a sale, until the end of the year I’m going to do commissioned acrylic paintings at these rates:

8×10= $25
10×10=$30
11×14=$50
16×20 = $60
18×24=$80
22×28=120
24×30=$130
30×40=$200
36×48= $275
These prices include the cost of the canvas and paints, it does not cover shipping. I will accept tips, and really love tacos and booze.

The deal is, you pay me, tell me an idea of what you want, usually giving a couple words like “I want a dinosaur” or “I want a monkey doing ____”
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t do fan art, won’t use copyrighted characters and don’t do portraits.
You know my style,  if you want something done  now is the time.  I can usually do most paintings in two to five days, so if you’re planning on giving something as a gift  take that into consideration.  I can show you a sketch before hand if you don’t trust me enough, or I can just go to town with your idea, I assure you I go above and beyond what i get paid for these, as I actually love painting.  Amazing concept, eh?

I’m also going to start up a “Deal of the Week” sort of thing, where I list a painting here for significantly less than they would be at the shop.
This is only if you buy them through me, if you go to Sarenity and expect to pay these prices you’ll be S.O.L.
SO! This weeks deals are :
Toxic Skull Pong: $40
toxic-skull-pong

“Robot Vs Tranny”  and “Baby  Kraken”  both are framed, $75 each or $125 together

 Robot vs. Tranny Baby Kraken
either leave some contact info, hit me up on AIM : Skullclint, or send an email to seanfarquhar @ yahoo.com if  you’re interested.

Step right up ladies and gents..

I’ve been told that lots of people are grabbing my flyers, so I figure I should keep working at the site. I’d like to assume that one out of 5 people are going to the site after grabbing the file. Three of them are using it to line bird cages or to help house-train their dogs.  The fourth one is probably some dude with some bizarre cake and bearded dude fetish. But hey, for you 20% that are going to the site: thanks!

Anyway I added a couple of my more recent works:
mechamutantfest

^ Here’s a mutant wearing a mech-suit, he’s killing guys in Haz-mat suits and making mutants out of others. it’s roughly 20×28? ish. Whatever. It’s on display at Sarenity, priced at $200 there, but I’m likely going to get it framed which may or may not change the price.

redskulldude
^This red skeleton guy is an 8×10 acrylic painting  . It’ll find it’s way to the shop eventually, but as of now I’m offering it to the online community (aka my friends and acquaintances) for $25.   It’ll probably be $35 or $40 when it goes to the mall.  has been sold.

If you’re interested get a hold of me.  I’m also always looking for commissioned work, The prices will be very affordable, and you’ll get your money’s worth, as I absolutely love painting, and money, also tacos, and beer. So, if I get money to paint, and can then buy tacos and beer, I’ll be very, very happy. And really, isn’t that what we’re all here for?

Coming soon.. and other excuses

Instead of making graphics for the site tonight I ended up making flyers to get people here,  double-edged sword. If they work, people will get here and see how bad the site looks. But I promise I’ll make this place not look so horrible soon. Really, I mean it.

I just finished up a large-ish project, mutants and robots and everything, so I’m taking a little break and decided to do up a bunch of smaller things, mainly to sell for cheap. I’m doing up three 8×10 inch paintings, and will be doing custom frames with them, as 12×12, and a 12×16, also doing up some painted bottles and other odds and ends.  I want to keep these under $50 and will be selling them either in person or through the site, less overhead that way. If anyone is interested be sure to hit me up.  I’m putting just as much heart and creativity into the smaller projects, they’re just, less costly for me and in turn will be cheaper for anyone wanting to buy some art and not wanting to spend $100+.

The tattoo shop is up and running and fourteen of my paintings are on display. Once again, if anyone is in the Port Huron/Ft Gratiot area make sure you stop in at Sarenity Tattoo at the Birchwood Mall next to Macy’s.  There are also a bunch of other paintings from great local artists. The response has been great so far as it really is the cleanest, nicest and classiest tattoo shop most people have ever seen.  There’s already been plenty of great feedback for all the artists with art on display, and of course Jon is the only person I trust enough to tattoo me. So go there, buy some art and get yourself tattooed.  Also, one of these days I’ll make some sort of vanity gallery with all of my tattoos. I’m glad I don’t slack on my paintings the way I slack on this site.
