“Under Construction”

Historically I’m absolutely terrible at updating a website, and this is no different.
I’m still putting out a lot of artwork, numerous ones are on display at Sarenity Tattoo, I’m also apprenticing there and it eats up time, as well as my duties as a Pizza Wizard, and this is a horrible excuse, because I could totally find time to update this.
Add me on facebook, there’s lots of crap-res pictures of some of my art.

Someday I’ll work on this site, very lazy, but I’m alive and well. More updates are “coming soon” and this page is “under construction”…. 5 people will find that funny.

Mobile Deathcamp are about to to hit the road with GWAR again for a few months, before this they’re playing in Port Huron for the second show in the Brutal Fattery concert series.
This show is going to be all metal. the bands are Mobile Deathcamp, A Fistful of Quality, No Class Assassins, Final Our, Hi8us. An Amber Sky and Cerebral Lacerations.
Once again it’s at Bridges which is pretty much the only place I’ll be booking shows at. So get used to it :) .
April 30th 2010, 5:30pm is the doortime. first band will be on at 6pm. be there for it.
as an incentive to be there on time, the first 50 people who pay to get in will get a coupon for 10% off a piercing during the month of May at Sarenity Tattoo.
$6, All Ages, drugs, no booze.
1101 4th st, Port Huron
I’ll have t-shirts and some budget art for sale.  You don’t want to miss this show. It’s going to rock Saddam Hussein’s ass all the way back to Russia.

I’m hosting a show at Bridges in Port Huron on Friday April 16th.
I’ve rounded up a bunch of good bands that should make up an entertaining set, and they all play styles of music that go well with one another.
Between bands there will be an assortment of Stand-up comedians, short films and other random stupid human tricks.
In the end I’m aiming for an oldschool variety show feel. This is going to be great, make sure you go and take all of your friends.
I will have some paintings and hopefully shirts up for sale, there will also be a booth for Sarenity Tattoo and maybe more!
I will update this post as I get more info. Anyway, GO TO  THE SHOW!
April 16th! 5:30 PM! $5!

So, my friend Chris started setting up shows, his church is cool enough to let him book any bands he wants and use  it as a hall.  So I went ahead and booked Mobile Deathcamp. I’m throwing some money into this thing so everyone needs to go check it out. Todd Evans is the singer/guitarist, most of you know him as he was in GWAR for 5 years or so and played on War Party (one of my favorite GWAR albums) and Beyond Hell.  Anyway, Mobile Deathcamp rocks, puts on a great show and are cool people.   Admission is only $5.  Good times shall be had by all. It’s at a church, so no drugs or booze but it will let out around midnight leaving plenty of time to kill brain cells.
I’m pretty sure we’re going to set up a Sarenity booth  so some of my art will be on display as well as other local artists and the tattooist portfolios.

The flyer looks much better than this,  They’re all a full page, none of that half/quarter page bingo-night looking concert flyers from me.  If you can’t find them around town i’ll try to still have a stack handy in case people want to save them. Stranger things have happened.

Happy New Year!
I’ve been less productive than usual, as for paintings I ended up painting a monkey for my niece, and Mcqueerson commissioned a zombie apocalypse painting, that one was pretty cool.  I’ve been doing more drawings, usually extremely violent or perverted pictures that I then color and hang on someones fridge. Haven’t taken pictures of many of these but!  There’s a good chance that inviting me over for dinner will land you a mutant dick drawing on your icebox.
Also! Working on a 3ftx4ft “Beholder” painting for myself and a couple other random ones, and a commission.  Those will probably find their way into Sarenity for brief display.  I will keep doing commissions for the rates listed in the “Money for Art?!” section.  The following picture as well as the Dino-horsie one were original commissioned paintings that lead to two happy art-owners and a bag of tacos for me.  Yes, bye!

HAPPY ROBANUKAH!

Happy Horridays!
Seasons Greetings, etc. To get myself in the holiday spirit I painted a Zombie Santa, the words are photoshopped and not on the actual painting.  he’s on display at Sarenity Tattoo until December 20th or so.
If I get a real offer I’ll sell it, otherwise he’ll be stored with my Day of the Dead tree and Lazer Tag guns until next Winter.  The Christmas-Give-Sean-Lots-of-Money sale is still going on.  Get your ideas a-flowin’ and give me money. Also, go check out my paintings at Sarenity, next to Macy’s in the Birchwood Mall. I’m not sure what ones I have up for sale or not, or if it matters. Just go enjoy. Dangit.

Old news is good news!

zombietattooI’m currently working on a couple projects but I figured I’d let everyone knows I’m alive and show off a painting I recently finished and put on display at Sarenity Tattoo in the tattoo lobby.   I’m rather happy with the results, it’s 30″x40″, bigger than all of my previous paintings, Go check it out in person as the colors are brighter than the camera says .

Also, if you’re around Port Huron you might see some sampler CDs laying around with a few of Eddie Lee’s projects as well as some other bands.  They even through a shill in there for my site!  And it’s like I always say: “One good promo-whore deserves another”. Well, I might not have actually said it before, but, whatever, you get the idea.
http://www.myspace.com/theyeddieinthewoodsgo check it out, you should be entertained. Plus click around and check out some of the other profiles and what not. Those Lee boys are utterly insane, I mean that in the best way imaginable.

Also, blah blah blah, still looking for commissioned works, willing to do some pretty cheap graphic work for local bands, I recently got a scanner I’m wanting to try out.  Get at me.

Bah, Humbug!

In the spirit of Christmas and Black Friday, I’m having a sale, until the end of the year I’m going to do commissioned acrylic paintings at these rates:

8×10= $25
10×10=$30
11×14=$50
16×20 = $60
18×24=$80
22×28=120
24×30=$130
30×40=$200
36×48= $275
These prices include the cost of the canvas and paints, it does not cover shipping. I will accept tips, and really love tacos and booze.

The deal is, you pay me, tell me an idea of what you want, usually giving a couple words like “I want a dinosaur” or “I want a monkey doing ____”
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t do fan art, won’t use copyrighted characters and don’t do portraits.
You know my style,  if you want something done  now is the time.  I can usually do most paintings in two to five days, so if you’re planning on giving something as a gift  take that into consideration.  I can show you a sketch before hand if you don’t trust me enough, or I can just go to town with your idea, I assure you I go above and beyond what i get paid for these, as I actually love painting.  Amazing concept, eh?

I’m also going to start up a “Deal of the Week” sort of thing, where I list a painting here for significantly less than they would be at the shop.
This is only if you buy them through me, if you go to Sarenity and expect to pay these prices you’ll be S.O.L.
SO! This weeks deals are :
Toxic Skull Pong: $40
toxic-skull-pong

“Robot Vs Tranny”  and “Baby  Kraken”  both are framed, $75 each or $125 together

 Robot vs. Tranny Baby Kraken
either leave some contact info, hit me up on AIM : Skullclint, or send an email to seanfarquhar @ yahoo.com if  you’re interested.

Step right up ladies and gents..

I’ve been told that lots of people are grabbing my flyers, so I figure I should keep working at the site. I’d like to assume that one out of 5 people are going to the site after grabbing the file. Three of them are using it to line bird cages or to help house-train their dogs.  The fourth one is probably some dude with some bizarre cake and bearded dude fetish. But hey, for you 20% that are going to the site: thanks!

Anyway I added a couple of my more recent works:
mechamutantfest

^ Here’s a mutant wearing a mech-suit, he’s killing guys in Haz-mat suits and making mutants out of others. it’s roughly 20×28? ish. Whatever. It’s on display at Sarenity, priced at $200 there, but I’m likely going to get it framed which may or may not change the price.

redskulldude
^This red skeleton guy is an 8×10 acrylic painting  . It’ll find it’s way to the shop eventually, but as of now I’m offering it to the online community (aka my friends and acquaintances) for $25.   It’ll probably be $35 or $40 when it goes to the mall.  has been sold.

If you’re interested get a hold of me.  I’m also always looking for commissioned work, The prices will be very affordable, and you’ll get your money’s worth, as I absolutely love painting, and money, also tacos, and beer. So, if I get money to paint, and can then buy tacos and beer, I’ll be very, very happy. And really, isn’t that what we’re all here for?
